Stromquist Privacy Policy

Stromquist & Company records calls and stores SMS messages to improve customer service, ensure quality, and maintain transaction records. Callers are notified before recording begins, and SMS communications are retained for service enhancement. All data is securely stored within Dialpad, with strict access controls in place. 

Recordings are retained for 45 days unless customized. Access is limited to authorized management, and no data is shared with third parties unless legally required. We comply with federal and state recording laws, including one-party consent in Georgia and all-party consent in Florida. Customers can opt out of SMS communications at any time.   1. Purpose of Call Recording
    We are committed to enhancing customer service and ensuring the quality of our interactions. To achieve this, we record telephone conversations for:
    • Training and development of our staff
    • Quality assurance purposes
    • Improving our services to better serve our customers
    • Record Keeping & Transactional Purposes
  2. Scope of Recording & SMS Communications: All inbound and outbound calls made to or from our company are recorded. SMS messages sent to and from our company may be stored for documentation and service improvement.
  3. Notifications: Callers will be automatically notified about call recording before the conversation begins. Additionally, this privacy policy is publicly accessible on our website. By sending or receiving SMS messages with us, you acknowledge that these communications may be retained for record-keeping and service improvement purposes.
  4. Data Storage & Security: We utilize Dialpad as our phone and SMS service provider. Call recordings and SMS messages are securely stored within Dialpad’s system. Dialpad maintains strict data protection policies, using encryption and access controls to secure stored communications.
  5. Data Retention: By default, Dialpad retains recordings and transcripts securely. After 45 days, they are not accessible through the Dialpad Admin Portal. However, customers can customize their data retention policies to extend this period as needed. SMS Messages: Stored according to Dialpad’s retention policies, which may be adjusted based on company needs.
  6. Access to Recordings: Access to call recordings is restricted to our Management Team, ensuring that only authorized personnel can review them.
  7. 3rd Party Sharing: We do not share call recordings or SMS messages with third parties unless required by law or necessary for business operations. Dialpad maintains strict data protection policies and does not share customer data without consent.
  8. Consent & Opt-Out: In Georgia, recording a telephone conversation is legal if at least one party consents to the recording.
    In Florida, all parties must consent to the recording. To ensure compliance, we notify all callers about the recording at the beginning of the call. If a caller does not wish to be recorded, they may choose to end the call. By texting us, you consent to receive messages from us, including service updates and notifications.   9. Legal Compliance: We comply with applicable federal and state laws regarding call recording. In Georgia, only one-party consent is required to record a conversation.
    In Florida, all parties must consent to the recording. Our notification at the start of each call ensures compliance with these regulations. SMS Messaging: We adhere to applicable regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CAN-SPAM Act, regarding SMS consent and opt-out procedures
