Returns & Warranty Support

Start Your Return or Warranty Request

To serve you as efficiently as possible, Stromquist offers an easy online return process. An online account and invoice number are required to submit an RMA request. Please review the return policy below before starting your request.

Important Honeywell Warranty Requirement

Customers submitting warranty requests for Honeywell BAS, Honeywell Tradeline, or Honeywell Thermal Solutions must have a supplier case number before the RMA can move forward.

The supplier case number may be obtained by either Stromquist or the customer, depending on the situation. However, a case number is required before the warranty return can be processed.

Return Policy

All returns require an approved RMA. RMA fees are waived when the return is due to a Stromquist error.

  • Warranty returns: Warranty policy is determined solely by the factory. Stromquist offers no additional warranty.
  • Freight charges: Freight costs associated with returns are typically the customer's responsibility and are not covered unless the return is due to a Stromquist error.
  • Freight orders: Freight charges on freight orders are not covered unless the issue is due to a Stromquist error.
  • Non-stock items: Returns and restock fees are determined solely by the factory.
  • Special order items: Many special-order products are non-cancellable and non-returnable. Return eligibility is determined by the manufacturer.
  • RMA paperwork: RMA paperwork will be emailed to the email address provided on the RMA request.
  • Condition: Items must be returned in resalable condition with original packaging and literature.

Stock Item Return Timing

For non-warranty stock items, return eligibility and restocking fees are based on time from shipment.

  • Cancelled before shipment: no charge
  • Up to 10 days: no restock fee
  • 11-30 days: 10% restock fee, minimum $10
  • 31-60 days: 20% restock fee, minimum $10
  • Over 60 days: no returns

Shortage & Damage Claim Policy

Please report any damages or shortages within 14 days of shipment receipt. Failure to notify Stromquist within this window may result in denial of the claim due to the age of the request.
